Samoan Language Week

Sunday 30/05/2021

Samoan Language Week / Vaiaso o le Gagana Sāmoa is being held this year from Sunday 24 May to Saturday 30 May. The theme for 2020 is: Poupou le lotoifale. Ola manuia le anofale, which means strengthen the posts of your house, for all to thrive.

Gagana Sāmoa is the second most spoken language in Auckland and third most spoken in New Zealand.  These upu fesoasoani (useful words) will be helpful in starting out on your journey to getting better acquainted with Fa’a Samoa…
