Ko au te moana, ko te moana ko au

Home to elaborate ecosystems and creatures microscopic to mammoth in size, there’s no question that our oceans and waterways are worth protecting. With a focus on educating and empowering communities to protect their local waters, Seaweek is New Zealand's annual national week dedicated to celebrating the sea. Hosted by the NZ Association for Environmental Education (NZAEE), Seaweek 2021 runs March 6-14 and there are events happening all over the country, including stream and beach clean-ups, film screenings, talks, workshops and more. Find out what’s happening for Sea Week in Auckland!
