Conservation Week

Every year the Department of Conservation celebrates Conservation Week to raise awareness about the wonderful native flora and fauna this country is home to and to encourage people to get involved with and protect these precious resources. DoC’s work involves environmental protection through research and restoration projects, pest eradication and a huge range of conservation initiatives. Conservation Week is an opportunity for everyone to support this important mahi and to discover ways to get involved.
