Interfaith Harmony Week

Sunday 27/01/2019

Humans have plenty in common. We all need food and water; we all appreciate love and respect; we all sing Purple Rain at the top of our lungs in the shower…. Right, guys? Right?

Interfaith groups are established the world over, bringing people from all beliefs and backgrounds together with the aim of working together to promote understanding and achieve peace. It’s no small feat, but one of the first steps to resolving our differences is to acknowledge our similarities.

From February 1st – 7th groups and individuals the world over will be gathering in the name of harmony, tolerance and peace. This is a worthy excuse (in case you need one) to get to know someone from a faith, culture or background you don’t know much about, and to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Because we’ll all benefit from a deeper understanding of each other, no matter what we sing in the shower…
