The Language of the NZ Elections

New Zealand is a democratic country and offers all citizens and permanent residents over the age of 18, the power and privilege to vote. For many migrants this privilege may have been denied in their own countries. At election time you hear so many new words such as MMP, Polling Booth, Voting screen, ballot paper, eligible, constituents, electorate, list MP, coalition, cast your vote and many more. In this lesson Adon helps you learn the most important words you need know to prepare you for the NZ General Elections.
