Ruthra and his family arrived from Sri Lanka in 1998. The father of three adult children works in manufacturing but has appointments every weekend to play badminton. With his wife and six other families, he often goes walking in the evenings. Ruthra enjoys Tamil music and movies and his many involvements with the community support his work on the radio.
