Muffin Talk invites you to take a break and consider all aspects of spirituality. Host and guests explore ecology, meditation, prayer, health, civil society, the history and values of religions, grief and dying, storytelling and spirituality and many more topics of the heart and spirit. An opportunity to pause for 30 minutes of thought-provoking insights.

  • Producer / Presenter: Beate Matthies

    Born in Germany, Beate came to NZ in 2010.  Her work in social justice has brought her to the management of the Mercy Spirituality Centre.  Time out for Beate is to try new Mediterranean recipes, good conversations with friends, reading, or a meaningful movie. She misses the ballroom dances of Europe, but takes pleasure in our natural world.
