Tita Verge, who graduated A.U. with a Masters in Political Science, is a working grandmother who as an active community leader has helped organise many Filipino cultural events since 1995. She coordinated the Rizal Reserve project, and works to promote Filipino dance. Since 2000 Virginia has hosted Samut Sari at Planet FM.
Myrna is an old hand at public speaking. She is an active member of Toastmasters International, part of a reading ministry, and works as an Administration Officer in North Shore City Libraries. Her community service and cultural activities mean she's always up-to-date on community news. Myrna is a committed Blues and Warriors fan and a competitive ten pin bowler.
Al Jane hails from Mandave City, Cebu and is a pure Bisaya at heart. With a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Arts in Nursing from Cebu Doctors' University, she came to NZ in 2006 with husband Eli and their three daughters. A theatre nurse at Auckland City Hospital she loves being a mum and is a keen cook.
