Presenters

  • Producer / Presenter: Reuben Raj

Also known as SomeBizarreMonkey, Reuben's passion for music and photography has taken him around the world. From New Orleans to Siberia, Paris and Saudi Arabia; his instincts behind the camera have led him to fashion photography, movie sets and a body of work that includes some of the biggest names in music. Creative work keeps him busy but he still finds time for his other loves which include playing Mahjong and a golden retriever called Hektor.

  • Presenter: Maisy McLeod-Riera

Maisy accidentally stumbled into gig photography. Her father introduced her to cameras from an early age and was always enthusiastic about taking them everywhere. Having developed a reputation as the ‘photographer friend’ she was asked to shoot a friend’s band in their first live show. Taken with the ephemeral nature of concert photography, Maisy joined up with Radio 13 and has been found in the pit ever since.

  • Presenter: Dave Simpson

Dave Simpson is a live event and people photographer based in Auckland. He strives to capture amazing photos of people whatever they are doing. A regular contributor to Getty Images and Undertheradar.co.nz, his editorial images have appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pitchfork, NME and have been used by brands including Prada and Calsberg Beer. Dave also teaches street photography and is an associate of the NZ Photographic Society (PSNZ).
