Between Meals

Join Renu as she interviews migrant women from all backgrounds living and thriving in Auckland. They share the ups and downs of Kiwi life, as well as the recipes that make them feel at home.


  • Producer / Presenter: Renu Sikka

    Renu Sikka is an Auckland-based writer, educator and the founder of Our Stories On Plate, a non-profit community social enterprise for empowering refugee and migrant women through cooking and sharing their cultural food stories. She is committed to ensuring inclusion and participation are key factors in the lives of new Kiwis. A Kiwi Punjabi herself, Renu's all time favorite recipe is Rajma-Chawal.
