An outreach of the NZ Tamil Society, this thirty minute weekly programme features Sri Lankan and Indian news, interviews, Tamil community bulletins, political reviews from Sri Lanka. There' a wealth of cultural content with drama, stories, poems and music.
PRODUCER/PRESENTER: Ruthra Karthigesu
Ruthra and his family arrived from Sri Lanka in 1998. The father of three adult children works in manufacturing but has appointments every weekend to play badminton. With his wife and six other families, he often goes walking in the evenings. Ruthra enjoys Tamil music and movies and his many involvements with the community support his work on the radio.

Collect a few good quality items of warm clean clothing from your friends, family & colleagues. Pack them in plastic bin bags, mark 'Amma NZ' on the outside & drop them to the collection point.
