Each Sunday morning there’s the chance to hear local Tamil perspectives presented by Tamil speakers with a passion for the language and culture. The music is varied, the topics entertaining.

Producer: Vai Ravindran
Vai has been producing radio programmes since 1997 and given service to temple and spiritual organisations over his years in Auckland. Born in Madras, Vai is the father of one son. He studies Vedanta, works in the IT industry and is well known among Tamils for his community activities. He is President of the Auckland Tamil Association, is a NZ qualified Education agent and operates a Subway franchise.

PRESENTER: Aswini Swaminathan
Aswini graduated with Masters in IT and Computer Science and in India she worked as a robotics trainer, but her passion is very much people. She currently enjoys the energy and atmosphere of hospitality work and her dream is to one day run her own café, somewhere with a beautiful outlook. Once involved in theatre, she hopes to return to the stage and is regularly invited to emcee community events.

PRESENTER: Pragalanayaki Prabhaharan
Yoga and meditation are part of Pragal’s daily routine, but her ultimate stressbuster is cooking… ideally while listening to music! Around Auckland she enjoys getting up Mount Eden to take in the view, but along with her husband and son she also appreciates any opportunity to explore New Zealand, and Whangarei Falls is a favourite family spot. Pragal recently completed her Masters in IT Project Management (AUT).
