Every Friday afternoon Pratima Nand puts listeners in the mood for the weekend with old hits, modern songs and ghazals. There are recipes, live interviews, handy hints, health information, nutrition and beauty tips. In this happy bujha you’ll also hear background information on Hindu festivals and a roundup of community events.

Born in Fiji, Pratima became a Kiwi in 1976. She maintained the links as a founding member of the Fiji Women’s Society. She works as a translator, interpreter and civil marriage celebrant. Pratima’s passion for cooking has seen her produce NZ’s first interactive DVD on Indian cooking.
