our broadcasting communities celebrate cultural events. These are reflected in their programming from the Big Gay Out to Diwali, the Chinese Lantern Festival to Ramadan. |

| The station has gatherings for members and broadcasters at year's end with the annual Planet broadcasting awards, The Micies. And our communities compete for the Planet Cup in the annual multi-cultural sports competition in summer. At other times special guests visit, anniversaries and successes are celebrated, or we note special occasions in the life of the Incorporated Society. |
