Romantics and rockers, kids and grans, everyone can enjoy a taste of the talent that earned Auckland the Unesco title of Creative City of Music. The big Demon Energy gigs, Rock the Park and Summer Jam, are in February and March but there’s something happening from January 13th. A 20 piece orchestra and Julie Deans do it for all out East while Grey Lynn has The Datsuns and Head Like a Hole. At Pt. Chev the kids and their minders have a big day out and in Manukau Stan Walker lines up with Mauboy, Smashproof and many more.
There are Sunday sessions in the Domain, acoustic Mel Parsons at Hobsonville Point, Midge Marsden in Blo9ckhouse Bay and the Jordan Luck Band in Helensville. It’s a long list and it’s coming to a park near you.
